WHAT DOES 'BSc. Kin' MEAN?
Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BSc. Kin) is a program of study at university that focuses on multiple aspects of the human body. From biomechanics and ergonomics to exercise science and neurology, providing a well rounded view of the body.
WHAT IS THE MASSAGE THERAPY SCOPE OF PRACTICE?
The practice of massage therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain.
WHAT’S IN AN APPOINTMENT?
An appointment will likely include the following components, each of which will vary in the time required to complete, based on the severity of the condition(s) being treated, the length of the unit and the complexity of the treatment:

~ Assessment of health issues

~ Self-care recommendations
~ Charting and administration
WHAT’S THE COST?
Relaxation Treatment
30 minutes ~ $40.00 (HST incl.)
45 minutes ~ $55.00 (HST incl.)
60 minutes ~ $70.00 (HST incl.)
Rehabilitation Treatment
30-60 minutes ~ charged according time needed
Cash, E-Transfer or Cheque only

HOW OFTEN DO I COME?
Depending on your reasoning for massage the frequency can range from twice a week, for rehabilitation purposes, to once a month for regular maintenance of the body. A customized plan, based on your individual needs, will be established following your initial consultation.
